Bath & Body Works lotion is the perfect way to keep yourself smelling good and moisturized this holiday season.
History of Bath & Body Works
According to Wikipedia, Bath & Body Works was founded in New Albany, Ohio in 1990. Their first store opened within Massachusetts of the same year. However, in 1991, the Body Shop sued Bath & Body Works and they had to go through a rebranding. A key aspect of the rebranding was Kate, who was a mascot created to be viewed as a founding figure. Six years later, they launched a secondary brand called Bath & Body Works at Home. Then, in 1999, they launched the White Barn Candle Company, which sold scented candles. Another small fact about the company is that their first television commercial arrived in Nov of 2008. Overall, soaps, fragrances, candles, and lotions are the stable of Bath & Body Works’ image.

Bath & Body Works is known for its variety of scents being large and unique. Price
The website allows customers to see the varying prices of these fun scents: they can either be $14.95, $15.95, or $16.95. These prices are definitely on the higher side for only 8 fl oz or 236 ml of product. Some customers seem to think that the prices are justifiable, but others are not particularly fond of it.
When speaking to Heidi Schmidt, a freshman at Colonia High School, she made her opinion on the pricing very clear. “I really do love Bath & Body Works and my favorite scent is Japanese Cherry Blossom. But, I definitely do not think that prices are worth it because they are impossible to afford on a short budget,” said Schmidt.
Quality
Considering that Bath & Body Works can be pricey with their products, the quality of the lotion becomes important. When applied, the lotions leave the skin feeling moisturized and smooth, so it is a perfect way to combat dry skin caused by the winter season! Plus, their lotions are almost always spot on with the scents, which gives them bonus points.
When speaking to Isabel Osnayo-Pastor, another freshman at Colonia High School, she gave her genuine opinion concerning the quality of the lotion. “Bath & Body Works is one of my favorite places to buy perfumes and lotions, with my favorite fragrances being Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte. It radiates a comforting, gentle scent that leaves a bold impact,” stated Osnayo-Pastor.
